Wilbert Howard Knight

Knight, Wilbert Howard- Passed away peacefully at home on July 28th, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

Bert was born on December 8th,1934 in North Bay to Myrtle (nee Bailey) and Alvin Knight.

He was the second youngest of 11 children. He was predeceased by his siblings Orville, Rita, Elsie, Inez, Gordon, Eunice, Doreen, Cecil, Russell and Morris.

He was co-owner of the Melrose Joke Shop and was well known for his antics. Bert was happiest in the bush fishing, hunting and building camps.

Bert is survived by his wife of 52 years Jeanne Knight (nee Corbeil), a daughter October and grandson Shael.

Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Friday August 2nd  from 6 until 8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Humane Society will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
