Yolande Jobin (Lecuyer)

Jobin, Yolande- It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Yolande Jobin (nee Lecuyer) on August 26, 2023 in her 89th year.

Predeceased by her husband Lucien Jobin. Yolande leaves behind a legacy of love with her children Suzanne Beaulieu (Conrad) and Roland Jobin (Christine), who will all miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her children Richard (1976), Ronald (1985) and Claudette (2001). Yolande is survived by her 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Joseph and Valeda Lecuyer, she is survived by her sisters Jacqueline (Alcide-predeceased), Cecile McDaid (Jim) and Lucille Krantz (John). Predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters.

Yolande was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, memère, sister and friend. She was a hard worker, always gardening and chopping wood along side her husband Lou for many years on their property in Bonfield. She was a talented seamstress. Memories were made with family and friends gathering around a table playing cribbage at the sugar shack and making maple syrup. She enjoyed Bingo with her daughter Sue where they always walked away a winner. Another passion of hers was feeding the deer with her husband Lou. A kind-hearted and selfless and sweet lady she was. Always had a smile on her face or a quick response “Whatever”. Yolande will be missed but never forgotten.

The family would like to recognise and thank her grandson Brad Duschesne who dedicated his time to his memère during her final days.

Family and friends are welcome to gather for prayers on Saturday September 9th at Ste Bernadette Cemetery in Bonfield at 11am. A celebration of life will follow at the Golden Age Club in the basement of the Parish Hall in Bonfield at 408 Gagnon St.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
