It's been almost a year since my husband died (Nov. 2021) and although he is never far from my thoughts, the compassion, care and understanding from the staff at Hillside Funeral Home made the experience much more bearable . Having pre-planned our funeral arrangements 11 years before with the help of Anne-Marie, while we were both healthy, was a blessing. Knowing exactly what his wishes were for his funeral may not have alleviated the grief of losing him, but it certainly did take away some of the stress I would have had to go through. Thank you Patrick, Anne-Marie and all the staff .

Dear Aunt Celia.
You will be truly missed. I have many fond memories of you that I can look back on with love. Never would imagine that i would lose you and my dad within months of each other. My family now has one more angel looking down on us.

I want to send our utmost appreciation and thanks to Hillside Funeral Services; especially Patrick and Ann-Marie.
Everyone was compassionate, respectful, helpful and accomodating from the moment we reached out to them, and brought some comfort to our loss.

Losing our mother was difficult as it is, let alone in the midst of Covid.

Hill Side Funeral Services has been a great comfort and bright light in these days since my brother's passing. From beginning to end, and at all times, no matter who we dealt with, we were met with compassion and care such as we had not expected.
