Owen, Jamie (James) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jamie (James) Owen on Monday August 28th, 2017.

He will be forever missed by his sons, Dan (Candice), Josh (Kayla), Jesse (Janna). Sisters, Cathy, Wanda (John), Tracy (Bob), Shelly (Don), Mike & Michelle (Warren). Stepfather Bruce, predeceased by his mother Heather & father Dick and by his sister Lauri Elmore. His numerous cousins, nieces & nephews will all miss him dearly.

His extended family & life long best friends, Rosie & Barry, and their children Mitchell & Becca. His best friends Pete, Mike, Laurie, Mary Anne and Ryan.

Jamie will be remembered for his sense of humour, fierce love for those he cared about & his unending generosity; he was always happy to lend a hand. Jamie was a decorated player for the Widdifield Wildcats. He was very involved with the boy’s sporting endeavors as a volunteer for their baseball & hockey teams and an avid Raptors fan.

Jamie would like to thank Drs. Pearce, Luison, Mah, Young, Noble and Lamont and their staffs for their efforts. Chemo, Radiation and Emergency departments in both Sudbury and North Bay. The pharmacy team at Shoppers on Lakeshore you are amazing. Dr Preston for his insight and support.  His nurses Shelby, Claire, April, Nicole and the CarePartners team, your Good Human is resting in peace, thank you.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Sept. 1 at the Shriners Club 1260 Brooke St. North Bay at 7pm. Donations in memory of Jamie to All Heart Pet Rescue.

So sorry for you loss. Jamie was a great soul. I was lucky enough to have met him through volleyball and baseball. His friendship will be missed. RIP Jamie.

One of the fixtures at our house growing up.Jamie was always kind liked to laugh and a constant love for his family.We took Jamie out a month ago and had a wonderful day with him.It was on of his best days in a while.Love you Big boy
